Oncin is a persistent fan-made roleplaying simulator for living inside Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, not simply replaying it. Begin in the Royal Capital, near Earlham Village, at Roswaal Manor, around the Royal Selection, at Sanctuary or Pristella, at Pleiades Watchtower, or in another supported situation. Follow Subaru's path or build a separate life.

The main selection screen offers Natsuki Subaru or Make Custom Character. Create an original resident, a person from Earth, or a source-compatible character with a defined background and starting circumstances. The world has its own history, factions, dangers, and relationships; your character need not follow Subaru or become important without cause. Subaru, Emilia, Rem, Ram, Beatrice, Reinhard, the Royal Selection candidates, Witch Cult, demon beasts, Sanctuary, and Pristella belong to that history.
