Final Fantasy VII: Midgar and Beyond

From the bombing of Mako Reactor No. 1 to the Northern Crater. Be Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Red XIII, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid, or Reeve and the toy cat he steers, or walk in as an AVALANCHE recruit, a Shinra employee or a kid from the Sector 7 slums. The 1997 story is what happens if nobody interferes, and you can interfere: warn Sector 7, keep the Black Materia, get to the Forgotten Capital first. Grow your materia in linked slots, keep Shinra's heat and the Turks off your back, watch the Planet's health fall, and pick at the story Cloud tells about himself. Five years ago is sealed until you have seen the Crater.
